Your role

In this role, you will advise Mazars' (inter)national clients on their tax issues and obligations. You will help them anticipate the constantly changing laws and regulations and explore opportunities for tax optimization. You will work on a variety of projects, ranging from tax restructurings to fulfilling tax compliance obligations. You will closely collaborate with accountants, tax specialists, and other experts, both nationally and internationally, to deliver the best solutions for Mazars' clients.

Working in a multidisciplinary team, you will have the space to develop innovative solutions for complex issues. The client portfolio is diverse, focusing primarily on corporate clients with international operations. This gives you the opportunity to further develop your expertise in an international context and contribute to the success of Mazars' clients.

What do you bring?

To be successful in this role, you have extensive experience in tax law and a proven track record in advising (inter)national clients. Mazars is looking for a proactive and client-oriented professional who can translate complex tax issues into practical and effective solutions. You bring the following:

  • A completed university degree in Tax Law or Fiscal Economics, supplemented with a completed NOB education.
  • At least seven years of relevant work experience in a similar role, preferably in an international context.
  • In-depth knowledge of corporate tax law, both for national and international clients with operations in the Netherlands.
  • Excellent communication skills, to clearly convey complex tax advice to clients and colleagues.
  • A team-oriented attitude, where you effectively collaborate with colleagues from various disciplines and contribute to Mazars' success.
