Your role

As an Expert Corporate Sustainability and Strategy, you guide a multidisciplinary team on challenging (sustainability) assignments, within a wide range of clients in various industries like Consumer Goods & Retail, Energy, Utilities, Postal, Telecommunications, Pharmaceutical. As a team you deliver complex projects that support our clients in realizing their sustainability ambitions. Next to supporting our clients, you are a thought leader that is continuously monitoring the latest sustainability related trends relevant for the industries we operate in. You are using this knowledge to develop new propositions and point of views for our company.


We are looking for an expert with a proven track record in sustainability and management consultancy and/or have an industry background within the field of sustainability. And most importantly, the ability to get along with others and make work fun.

Your responsibilities

  • Delivery of projects to clients, from (sustainability) strategy design to transformation management, to calculating the corporate carbon footprint – this includes responsibilities like project- and (senior) stakeholder management, guiding junior colleagues on the job, quality assurance and responsible for overall project success.
  • Guiding clients towards new sustainable business strategies, development and integration of innovative concepts and technology and transformation plans.
  • Developing new business through own network and acquisition of new clients and managing senior client stakeholder relationships.
  • Signaling and acting upon the needs of the clients and translate these into (sustainability) projects.
  • Actively monitoring new developments, innovations and trends in the field of sustainability and translating these into thought leadership (articles, presentations, roundtables etc.)
  • Leading the development of new propositions in the field of sustainability to increase and improve our sustainability offerings portfolio

What do you bring?

  • A Master’s degree, preferably (corporate) sustainability related, or with a technical or (organizational) business / energy focus
  • Proven track record (5 – 10 years) in sustainability and/or management consultancy or have an industry background within the field of sustainability
  • Demonstrates integrity to do the right thing - for the clients and your team.
  • Takes pride in supporting the development of others – encouraging growth, creating opportunity and supporting learning.
  • Can influence and develop trusted relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Strong analytical skills and numerical understanding
