(Senior) Manager Compliance Advice - Netherlands

Your role

You will work as a (Senior) Manager Compliance in the financial services sector with a variety of projects. As (Senior) Manager Compliance, you will lead and manage compliance initiatives across banks, asset managers or insurance companies, among others. This role is pivotal for the growth ambition of BearingPoint’s Financial Services team while fostering a culture of compliance innovation and ensuring our clients meet regulatory requirements. As senior manager you do have responsibility to generate revenue. However, you’ll never do it alone. For example, proposals are made by and with a team at your disposal or colleagues will join you visiting clients. We are also making use of a business development manager who can introduce you at clients.

What do you bring?

As a (Senior) Manager, you’ll work as part of a team of problems solvers, helping clients to solve their complex challenges. The professional skills and responsibilities of a (Senior) Manager include, but are not limited to:

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in compliance, understand the Dutch financial services sector and have a strong business network.
  • Demonstrate proven in-depth knowledge of regulatory requirements, best practices in financial services and/or success in roles with managing compliance-related engagements.
  • Knowlegde about the regulation around AML (anti mone laundering) and ESG
  • Bring an entrepreneurial mindset to support the continuous growth and build relationships with internal and external clients.
  • Anticipate stakeholder needs, and develop and discuss potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realises they are required.
  • Encourage everyone to have a voice and invite opinion from all, including the more introvert members of the team.
  • Deal effectively with ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations, move easily between big picture thinking and managing relevant detail.
